Revision of the quick stop function

Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine and TopLine from firmware version 15.01.00.00

Functional description:
The quick stop function has to be adapted even more to existing requirements in the new version. The settings are made via individual bits of code C00104.
Bit0: position-controlled standstill (already available from version 10.00.00.00)
After reaching standstill, the position is not exited by position control as long as quick stop is pending.
Bit1: position-controlled ramp (already available from version 10.00.00.00)
During ramp-down, the position control is active.
Bit2: maintain following error
If this bit is not set, the following error is reset with the quick stop request. If bit2=1, the current following error is maintained.
Therefore, setting this bit only makes sense if bit1=1 is also set.
Bit3: starting value is setpoint speed
If this bit is not set, the quick stop request superimposes the actual speed value. (Except for a speed deviation smaller than 5rpm). However, if the bit is set, ramp-down is started with the speed setpoint provided last, irrespective of the current speed deviation. In the case of a "Position-controlled ramp" (bit1=1), this may cause further acceleration of the drive to reduce a following error that is pending.
Bit4: use position encoder
With a quick stop request, the formation of a following error is derived from the motor encoder. However, if bit4=1 is set, the formation of this following error is effected furthermore on the basis of the position encoder's position. This for instance makes sense if there is a slip between the motor encoder and the position encoder, and the position of the position encoder is important for quick stop because a second drive is installed downstream of the position encoder.

Applications
All applications for which quick stop is used.
