In firmware 9.1 the time management during the initialisation of Hiperface measuring systems has been adapted.
Now the entire initialisation time for the Hiperface interface in the standard device amounts to 2100ms.
Which products are affected?
9300 position controller with firmware V8.1 and V9.0.
What happens?
When laser measuring systems DME5000-1xx of the Sick-Stegmann company were used, SD7 error messages occurred after switch-on with firmware 8.1. This was due to the long initialisation times of the Hiperface interface of 1500ms of these measuring systems.
When does the problem occur?
When laser measuring systems DME5000-1xx of the Sick-Stegmann company with a 9300 position controller with firmware V8.1 or V9.0 were used.
Diagnostics options?
A laser measuring system DME5000 is connected to a 9300 position controller and an SD7 error message occurs after switch-on.
