Cycle time extension in the task with the highest priority due to the use of network variables

What happens?
The cycle time of the task with the highest priority rises significantly. In the Task Configuration you can note a high jitter of the task with the highest priority.

When does this behaviour occur?
The processing of network variable lists in the task with the highest priority can lead to significant cycle time extensions.

Which products are affected?
L-force Controller c300 from V3.8
L-force Controller p300 from V3.8

Short-term measures/recommendations:
Assign a low priority task as task in charge of handling the network variables in the properties of the network variable lists.

Evaluation:
If the task with the highest priority is in charge of handling network variables, the cycle time may be sporadically significantly extended or a task overflow may occur as a result. As a remedy, assign the handling of network variables to a low priority task.
