The inaccuracies will be much smaller now, because the interferences on the zero pulse signal have been reduced by means of hardware modifications.
What happens?
SinCos encoder with zero track (zero pulse): When homing to the zero track, the detected home position may be inaccurate. The inaccuracies may be in the range of a few increments.
When does this behaviour occur?
The inaccuracies are caused by interferences on the zero pulse signal. As a consequence, the zero pulse may be detected a little bit too early or too late. In this case, the detected position will be accordingly inaccurate.
Which products are affected?
i700 servo inverter (encoder variant) HW: 1B, 1C
Short-term measures:
None.
Evaluation/recommendation:
Inaccuracies (in the range of a few increments) of the home position have corresponding effects on the positioning accuracy of the machine application.
