What happens?
The functions of the
L_DFSET_1 function block that are marked red here do not function as shown in the picture shown in the online help or in the documentation.
1. The changeover C01073/1 of the input for the setpoint integrator (evaluation with/without gearbox factor) is shown incorrectly in the picture. The correct setting is 0: with gearbox factor' and '1: without gearbox factor'.
2. Output of the following error (as earlier in the case of the 9300) has been intentionally altered for the 8400 TopLine: formation of a following error in
L_DFSET_1 is not useful because this happens in the downstream Motion Control Kernel (MCK). According to the signal flow in the documentation, the following error is output at the
dnPosDiffOut_p output. This output does not function as described in the illustration.
The function of the
dnPosDiffOut_p output will be altered in a later version to the TP difference to be corrected. For output of the following error, a new output signal
dnDeltaPos_p will be generated.

L_DFSET_1 function block is called up in the online help or in the software manual.
Diagnostics options?
If the circuit diagram that relates to the
L_DFSET_1 function and is shown in the online help or in the software manual corresponds to the one shown above, the circuit diagram is wrong.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
The actual functioning of the
L_DFSET_1 function block is not affected. The problem is only one of incorrect representation of the block diagram in the online help or in the software manual.
