Untrue running of power loss-optimised modulation modes (Eliminated from FW 12.00)

Eliminated from:
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine, HighLine and TopLine from firmware version 12.00.00.00

Behaviour of the new version?
There is no untrue running in the case of power loss-optimised modulation modes.

Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine, HighLine with a firmware version 11.xx.xx.xx, and 8400 TopLine with a firmware version 2.xx.xx.xx

What happens?
The motor is running out of true; especially in the case of low switching frequencies, partly a noticeable motor noise, a 'clicking noise', can be noticed.

When does the problem occur
For all control modes and the power loss-optimised modulation modes:
Switching frequency C0018 = 11-18 and 31-33.
If the switching frequency is 16 kHz, the behaviour only shows an impact in field weakening.

Diagnostics options?
Check whether it is possible to eliminate the noticeable motor noise by change-over to a drive-optimised modulation mode.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use drive-optimised modulation mode: C0018 = 1-8 or 21-23.

Evaluation:
The occurrence of the behaviour is comprehensible and can be easily detected. With the Lenze setting for the switching frequency, this behaviour does not occur. A parameterisable remedy is provided.
