What happens?
The nodes connected to the CAN bus do not change to operartional.
When does the problem occur?
If a PLC Designer project which has been created for a controller V3.1 with CAN bus is started on a controller equipped with V3.3 the CAN master does not send the 'start node' network management telegram (NMT) after a restart or repeated project download.
Which products are affected?
3200 C controller from V3.3
p500 controller from V3.3
CAN card: MC-CAN2
Possible diagnostics?
Check the controller version for which the project has been created in the 'Information' tab of the device L-force controller 3200 C.
There is no comminication between CAN master and slave, neither SDO nor PDO communication.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Carry out mains switching with the controller.
Evaluations:
If a PLC project which has been created for a controller with version V3.1 is downloaded into a controller equipped with version V3.3 the CAN slaves connected to the CAN interface of the controller doe not switch to operational.
