Activation of DC functionality without activation of controller synchronisation in code C-1120

Corrected from:
EtherCAT E94AYCET Firmware Version 3.00 communication module

Behaviour of the new version?
If the DC functionality is used for the EtherCAT master and no controller synchronisation has been selected in the 9400 via code C01120 (MXI1 / MXI2), the module will send an emergency message with the AL status code '0x0030 – DC invalid sync cfg' when the state tries to change from SafeOp to OP. The module remains in the ErrSafeOp state.

What happens?
The module changes to the OP state without an emergency message if the DC functionality is used for the EtherCAT master and no controller synchronisation has been selected in the 9400 via code C01120 (MXI1 / MXI2).

When does the problem occur?
If the DC function is used and controller synchronisation has not been activated in the 9400.

Which products are affected?
EtherCAT E94AYCET FV 2.0 communication module
EtherCAT E94AYCET FV 1.01 communication module

Diagnostics options?
Check of the C01120 setting for the correct value (MXI1/MXI2).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None
