Function extension:
At terminal X8 (15-pole Sub-D socket) different encoder systems can be used optionally:
- TTL incremental encoders
- SSI absolute value encoders
Via the multi encoder interface X8, also the temperature signal of the KTY can be connected.

Applications
The TTL encoder is usually mounted on the motor shaft and serves to the feedback for the speed and position controller.
The SSI absolute value encoder is mounted on the load side and is used for position control or as reference value after switching on the system.
