Functional description
In the case of the energy-saving V/f characteristic control, a linear characteristic is used to set the motor voltage against the field frequency to be generated (like also for VFCplus). Additionally, via a cos phi control and the voltage reduction in the partial load operational range, the motor is always actuated in the optimum efficiency range. This brings about the following advantages:
- Good robustness
- Simple parameterisation
- High energy efficiency
- The same speed accuracy and maximum torques like for VFCplus
- Better efficiency for standard asynchronous motors
