Function description
Code 1x887 can be used to parameterise the transmission of diagnostic data. Regarding this, it can be defined for each error response (error, trouble, quick stop by trouble, warning locked, warning) if the DP-V1 diagnostic data is to be transmitted or not. If the default setting is selected for the code the module responds like the previous firmware versions.
Applications
The Profinet module transmits all 9400 logbook entries via DP-V1 diagnostic data to the Profibus master. Every entry is transmitted once as incoming and outgoing event if the entry has been acknowledged by the 9400. The diagnostic data can be evaluated in the PLC program. The structure of the diagnostic data is described in detail in the Profinet Communication Manual.
