Eliminated from:
Global Drive PLC Developer Studio V2.4
Global Drive Control V4.13
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC)
Behaviour of the new version?
A parameter set can be downloaded without problems to a Drive PLC via a CAN FIF module by means of the L-force Loader if the application-specific device description of DDS V2.4 or the basic device description of GDC V4.13 is used to create the parameter set file.
What happens?
The download of a parameter set to a Drive PLC via a FIF module by means of the L-force Loader is aborted and a communication error is indicated.
When does the problem occur?
The response described before occurs if the CAN node address of the FIF module does not correspond to the node address saved in the parameter set file.
Which products are affected?
Global Drive PLC Developer Studio V2.3 and lower
Global Drive Control V4.12 and lower
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC)
Possible diagnostics?
Check if the value of code C2450 (= FIF CAN node address) in the parameter set file corresponds to the one in the Drive PLC.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Repeat the download by means of the L-force Loader.
Evaluation:
The function restriction may occur when a parameter set is downloaded via a CAN FIF module. The function restriction can be avoided by downloading the parameter set again.
