Synchronisation with sync telegram and digital input I1 not possible (eliminated from DPLC V8.3 onwards)

Eliminated from:
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC) from V8.3 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The internal time basis of the Drive PLC cannot be synchronised with the instant of reception of the sync telegram or digital input X3/I1.

What happens?
If the Drive PLC generates a master value for an electrical shaft, the drives of the electrical shaft produce a cracking noise (torque impulses).

When does the problem occur?
The internal time basis of the Drive PLC cannot be synchronised with the instant of reception of the sync telegram or digital input X3/I1 of the Drive PLC.

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC) V8.2

Possible diagnostics?
Although the synchronisation is configured correctly, the system variable CAN_bSyncInsideWindow_b indicates deviating values.

Short-term measures/recommendations
Synchronise the drives in an electrical shaft with the sync telegram (internal time basis) of the Drive PLC.

Use firmware version V8.3 in which the function restriction is eliminated.

Evaluation:
The synchronisation of the internal time basis of the Drive PLC with a sync telegram is not possible due to this function restriction. The function restriction has been eliminated with firmware version 8.3.
