Eliminated from:
EMF 2192 communication module from firmware V1.3 onwards
Behaviour of the new version:
From firmware version 1.3 onwards the EtherCAT communication status (Pre-OP, OP, etc.) is correctly transmitted to the Lenze basic device.
Which products are affected?
EMF 2192 communication module from firmware V1.0 onwards
EMF 2192 communication module from firmware V1.1 onwards
only in combination with the ECS servo system from operating software V8.3 onwards
What happens?
The basic device cannot be enabled and the process data is not read in by the basic device since the module does not transmit the EtherCAT communication status to the basic device.
When does the problem occur?
The communication module problem only occurs in combination with the ECS basic device and even there only with the ECS axis module from firmware 8.3 onwards.
Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour described before has occurred if the ECS Motion basic device cannot be enabled via the control word.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
Since the axis cannot be traversed, unexpected plant states cannot occur.
