Additional function:
When installing GDC V4.13, the 'ADS EtherCAT' communication software V1.0.0.0 is installed. The 'ADS EtherCAT' bus server can be used by GDC to go online using Lenze converters, which run as EtherCAT Slaves under control, as a gateway via a Beckhoff control system. The connection from the Engineering-PC up to the Beckhoff control system is established via a TCP/IP network. The connection from the Beckhoff control system to the converters is established via EtherCAT.
For going online, the user must enter the IP address and, if necessary, authentication data of the control system, NetID of the EtherCAT interface as well as EtherCAT address of the converter. To be able to go online, the EtherCAT field bus must at least be in the 'preoperational' status.
