Positioning, ManualJog, Homing - impermissible motion parameters (eliminated from V5.0 onwards)

Eliminated from:
HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

Behaviour of the new version?
If a search speed or search acceleration of 0 % has been selected in the Homing operating mode, the starting acceleration and / or speed is used as before. If a value of 0 % has been selected for the parameter for the starting speed and / or acceleration, the controller provides the "Ck10: Profiledata invalid" error message.
This error message occurs in the Positioning, Homing, and ManualJog operating modes.

Criteria which trigger this message:
• Error: Invalid speed
o Speed = 0 during starting cycle.
o A speed of 0 has been selected in the profile.
o The speed override sets a speed of 0 in the starting cycle (positioning profiles only).
o CAUTION: If a speed has been applied to continuous traversing and a traversing profile with a selected speed of 0 is started, acceleration to a speed of 0 is started and no error is triggered!

• Error: Invalid acceleration
o Acceleration = 0 during starting cycle.
o An acceleration of 0 has been selected in the profile.
o The acceleration override sets an acceleration of 0 in the starting cycle.

• Error: Invalid deceleration
o Deceleration = 0 during starting cycle.
o A deceleration of 0 has been selected in the profile.
o The deceleration override sets a deceleration of 0 in the starting cycle.
o In the continuous traversing mode, the deceleration parameter has been set to 0 during speed setpoint generation. This is possible because the deceleration override was set to 0.

• Error: Implausible profile calculation
o A reversing process is to be carried out during the setpoint generation of a positioning profile with final speed.
o In the first traversing cycle, the braking distance calculated via the profile data is greater than the total distance.
o During a braking operation in a velocity changeover profile, the final speed to be reached is greater than the speed which is currently generated.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
The motor does not rotate although a profile or a homing process has been started. The reason for this behaviour cannot be determined via status or error messages.

When does the problem occur?
The start of certain profiles including override selection does not result in logical evaluation if the motor is supposed to start. The motor does not rotate.

Possible diagnostics?
No diagnostics option - it cannot be determined why the drive does not rotate.

Short-term measures / recommendations?
Adapt and control motion parameters (speed, acceleration, deceleration, ...).

Evaluation:
The error can be avoided if the recommendations are followed.
