Overcurrent interruption at switching frequency ¨16 kHz constant¨ in control mode ¨SC: servo control ASM¨ (eliminated from V5.0 onwards)

Eliminated from:
HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

Behaviour of the new version?
This function restriction is eliminated with the above-mentioned firmware version.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
Overcurrent interruption of the device

When does the problem occur?
At switching frequency '16 kHz constant' in SC control mode, overcurrent interruption OC10 (Imax) or OC11 (clamp) may occur after the controller has been enabled (during magnetisation). This behaviour is likely to occur if the motor has greater dimensioning than appropriate for switching frequency '16 kHz constant'.

Possible diagnostics?
Check dimensioning data

Short-term measures / recommendations?
Do not select a greater dimensioning than appropriate for switching frequency '16 kHz constant'.

Evaluation:
Select switching frequency '16 kHz variable with reduction to min. 8 kHz' to create a workaround.
