Function extension:
In addition to the standard SDO parameter communication the CAN onboard connection of the 9400 servo system also supports the SDO block transfer which has already been used by the EMF 2177 USB CAN adapter. As a result, the communication between the Lenze Engineer software and the 9400 basic device has considerably been accelerated.
Note:
In order to use the SDO block data transfer an Engineer version as of 2.10.3 SP3 needs to be installed!

Application
The SDO block data transfer has been implemented according to CiA Spec DS301 in order to accelerate the communication between the module and 9400 servo system.
