External zero pulse generation in the DFOUT system block (elimination)

Eliminated from:
EVS93xx-EK V8.1, EVS93xx-CK V8.1

Behaviour of the new version
As soon as the function is changed in C0540 of the master frequency output (DFOUT system block) zero pulses are inhibited. Exception: If C0540 = 2 since in this case external zero pulses are not made use of.  In case of C0540 = 0, 1 or 3 the zero pulses are only activated by the SYNC-RDY input signal and digital terminal X5/E5.
If another SYNC-RDY signal is received, the zero pulses remain deactivated until the next signal edge at X5/E5.

What happens?
The master frequency output X10 continues to show zero pulses, although the DFOUT function under C0540 has been changed over to a mode without zero pulse output.

When does the problem occur?
After switch over from a mode with zero pulse output to another one without zero pulse output, e. g.: from C0540 = 2 to C0540 = 1.
If you switch on with C0540 = 1 (without zero pulse output), no zero pulse is displayed at X10.

Possible diagnostics?
After changing over the DFOUT function C0540 zero pulses are continued to be displayed at X10.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
After changing the DFOUT function under C0540 store the settings under C0003 and execute mains switching.

Evaluation:
The behaviour occurs during commissioning only and can easily be eliminated by mains switching.
