Function description
The I&MO functionality must be supported by Profinet devices with DP-V1 functionality. Moreover, the I&MO functionality informs about the interfacing for commissioning and maintenance. Special tools (configuration software of the Profinet master) can use this function in order to search specifically for information on the Internet by means of the interfacing data.
Applications
Up to now, the I&M data could only be assigned via the Profinet master configuration software. Thanks to FW 1.30 it is now possible to assign and change the I&M data via codes.

When entering the I&M data 1-3 the rest of the string is completed with spaces. In case of I&M4 the rest of the string is filled with zeros.
