Functional description Previous situation: SOS had been activated, STO was additionally activated and then reset -> For enabling of the output stage, the SOS had to be reset again as well. Present situation: SOS has been activated, STO is additionally activated and then reset again -> Enabling of the output stage as soon as STO is reset; SOS is immediately monitored again
Applications If a machine is at a standstill in SOS mode (e.g. due to several safety doors being opened) and STO is activated (e.g. by means of the emergency stop button), it is possible to change back to SOS after reset of the STO without first having to re-close and then re-open all the safety doors. The simplifies re-starting of the machine after STO. Engineer V2.10 is necessary in order to make use of the extended function.
