Servo control (SC) operating mode - Application to a motor that is rotating fast only works to a limited extent in the case of torque limitation (remedied from V4.0 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 HighLine, 400V devices,   SW V4.00 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine, 400V devices,   SW ≤ V2.01

What happens?
If a setpoint is applied to a fast rotating, coasting motor in the 'Servo control' (SC) operating mode and torque limitation is active, the frequency inverter accelerates the motor to the setpoint and, in doing so, assumes '0 rpm' to be the starting speed and not the actual value.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the torque limit is set to a value smaller than 5% of the rated torque  in the 'Servo control' (SC) operating mode.

Possible diagnostics?
Observation of the setpoint and actual value at the 'LS_MotorInterface' system block with the help of the data logger.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Set torque limit to a value greater than 5% of the rated torque.

Evaluation:
This behaviour is usually noticed during commissioning and can be rectified in accordance with the recommendations.
