Table positioning - Positioning stipulation in ¨units¨ (16 bit / 32 bit) (from V4.0 onwards)

Function extension:
The MCK control interface as well as the MCK status interface have each been supplemented with an interface that makes it possible to stipulate or display target positions and position data of the travel blocks in 'units' (16 bit / 32 bit) by means of process data. The desired data format is selected by means of the L-C01296/1 or L-C01296/2 code.

Internally, a conversion is carried out from 'units' into increments. Because this time-consuming calculation cannot be performed in one process cycle, the profile start of the position stipulated in units must wait until the calculation is completed and the profile data are valid. The status bit 'bPosSetDataValid' at the MCK control interface indicates this.

In addition, a function is integrated in the MCK interface. This function causes automatic incorporation of the specified 'units' into the profile data when the 'unit' specification is changed. As a result, an additional control bit no longer has to be activated for this (e.g. 'bPosSetProfilePosition' for teaching).
At the MCK status interface, it is also possible to choose which position signal is to be output in 'units' (L-C01295).

Applications
Simple profile specification via the process data bus, e.g. from a higher-level control unit or specification and display of profile data in 'units'. Conversion into increments for the internal representation is carried out automatically by the frequency inverter. The user can use his familiar 'unit' form of representation.
