Batch mode changes the parameter channel selected in the system bus (remedied from V4.4)

Eliminated as of:
L-force Loader V4.4

Behaviour of the new version?
If the L-force Loader transmits data via the CAN/system bus to the nodes while the batch mode is activated, the L-force Loader restores the original parameter setting when the download has been completed.

What happens?
When data is downloaded while the L-force Loader is in batch mode, the parameter channel selected in the system bus configurator may change.

When does the problem occur?
When the L-Force Loader is in batch mode it can be defined per script file which data (parameter set, PLC binary file, profile data) is transmitted to which node. The script file specifies for every node via which communication path the data is to be transmitted. When the transmission is executed via CAN/system bus the parameter channel used is set during transmission, too. If the data is downloaded via CAN/system bus in batch mode the L-force Loader changes the parameter channel settings selected in the system bus configurator according to the script. The L-force Loader does not restore the original setting of the parameter setting after completion of the script.

Which products are affected?
L-force Loader V3.0

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
If data has been downloaded via the L-force Loader with activated batch mode, the parameter channel selected in the system bus configurator is to be checked and changed if necessary.

Evaluation
Due to this function restriction it is possible to establish the communication with a CAN/system bus node via the wrong parameter channel. If this node communicates with other nodes via this channel considerable communication interruptions may be the result.
