New ¨Drive in target¨ status variable (POS_bDriveInTarget) using the LS_Positioner

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine axis controllers from Firmware version 05.00.30.00

Functional description
The new POS_bDriveInTarget output has been implemented on the LS_Positioner system block. The POS_bDriveInTarget output displays when the actual position of the positioning process is reaching the target position of the last profile to be traversed within the tolerance window which has been set in C02671. The current position setpoint has already reached the target position at that time. For positionings including sequence profiles the output will not be set to TRUE until the last profile has been traversed. If the tolerance window set in code C02671 is left, the status changes to FALSE. A hysteresis can be set for the tolerance window via code C02672. Code C02673 enables the user to specify the modulo cycle the signal is supposed to have an effect upon. If C02673=1, a modulo evaluation is carried out for all cycles (Lenze setting). The output will be set to TRUE again if the current position actual value of the drive enters the tolerance window again in one of the modulo cycles. If C02673=0, a modulo evaluation is only carried out for the modulo cycle of the target setpoint. The output will be set to TRUE again if the current position actual value of the drive enters the tolerance window again in the same modulo cycle. The status will even be output if the basic 'Positioning' function has been deactivated.

Applications
The POS_bDriveInTarget output can be used to determine if the actual position has reached the target position. This is even possible if the basic 'Positioning' function has been deactivated.
