Remedied from:
8400 StateLine SW V3.00 onwards
8400 HighLine SW V2.00 onwards
Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.
Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine SW ≤ V2.00
8400 HighLine SW ≤ V1.00
What happens?
If the 'Automatic DC-injection brake' function is deactivated while the 'Sensorless Vector Control' (SLVC) or 'Servo control' operating mode (SC) is selected, the start of the motor is delayed by 200ms (with SLVC) or < 200ms (with SC) since it has to be magnetized first.
When does the problem occur?
The problem always occurs if the hold time of the automatic DC-injection brake has elapsed.
Possible diagnostics?
Measuring the time delay of the output frequency after the hold time of the automatic DC-injection brake has elapsed.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Set an infinite hold time for the automatic DC-injection brake (L-C00106= 999.0 s).
Evaluation:
This behaviour is usually detected during commissioning and can be eliminated by applying the recommendations mentioned before.
