Servo control operating mode - Default setting deactivates the field weakening controller (remedied from V2.0 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 HighLine   SW V2.00 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V1.00

What happens?
The field weakening controller is completely deactivated when the default setting is selected due to faulty internal gain values of the field weakening controller. As a result, the max. speed in the field weakening range is too low or a too low motor torque is supplied.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs when the frequency inverter is operated in the field weakening range and the setting of the field weakening controller is left unchanged in default.

Possible diagnostics?
Observe the speed/torque in the field weakening range

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Doubling the P-component of the field weakening controller (L-C00577, double the default setting of 0.001 to 0.002)

Evaluation:
This behaviour is usually detected during commissioning and can be eliminated by applying the recommendations mentioned before.
