ECSxP V1.3, pdb file from GDC V4.11 contains extra codes

What happens?
While reading and writing the parameters (codes), Global Drive Control (GDC) reports that some codes cannot be accessed.

When does the problem occur?
Whenever the new GDC version V4.11 is used with the incorporated device data description (*.pdb) for ECS Posi&Shaft V1.3. The pdb file contains a few more codes than are actually available in V1.3 (A SW) in combination with the operating system (O SW) V7.x.
The additional codes correspond to the additional codes of the current O SW V8.x in contrast to V7.x. Posi&Shaft V1.3 can however not be operated with O SW V8.x (see Chapter 3.4).

The following extra codes appear in the pdb file:
• C2327, C2328, C2357/5, /6
• C2364, C2365/1, /2, /3, /4
• C2369, C2370/1, /2,
• C2371/1, /2
• C2372, C2382/6, C2470

Which products/versions are affected ?
ECS Posi&Shaft <= V1.3
GDC V4.11

Possible diagnostics?
When reading the current parameters from the drive, Global Drive Control (GDC) reports:   'This code could not be read.' in the case of certain codes.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Ignore GDC messages when reading and writing, as they do not affect the drive function.

Evaluation:
The additional codes in the pdb file do not affect the function of the positioning axis. For new applications, the latest software versions Posi&Shaft V2.0 and O SW V8.x should be used.
