Boot-up telegram

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC V8.1)
Servo PLC 9300EI as of V8.0 and 9300ET as of V8.0

Function description
After mains switching, reset node or reset communication the PLC target system sends a boot-up telegram (identifier 700hex + node address) via the onboard system bus when the CAN status is changed from Initialisation to Pre-Operational.

Applications
When switching on the Drive PLC or when resetting the CAN interface all CANopen devices send a boot-up telegram so that a CANopen master recognises all devices connected to the CAN bus. Thanks to this function extension the Drive PLC is also identified as device by the CANopen master.
