Filter time for the Sd8 encoder monitoring

Eliminated from:
EVS93xx-EK V8.1, EVS93xx-CK V8.1

Behavior in the new version?
The internal scaling routine of code C0575 has been changed in such a way that the filter time constant can now be selected from a value range range between 1 and 200ms. As a result, the filter function can practially also be used from this firmware version onwards.

Which products are affected?
EVS93xx-EK V7.1, EVS93xx-CK V7.1

What happens?
Code C0575 cannot be configured via keypad or GDC. Therefore the filter time setting for the Sd8 monitoring remains unchanged on default setting (1 ms).

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the filter time for the Sd8 monitoring is to be changed via keypad or GDC (C0575).

Possible diagnostics?
It is not possible to write code C0575 which is acknowledged by an NAK message (code cannot be written).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The delay of the Sd8 monitoring via the filter time under C0575 can practically not be used since monitoring is immediately activated due to the presetting of 1ms if corresponding interferences (wiring, EMC, …) exist. When the encoder is to be connected to X8 we generally recommend to implement the EMC measures mentioned in the Operating Instructions (sufficient screening and PE connection) before the subsequent filtering is activated via the software. The delay via C0575 could only 'fight against' the symptoms but not against the cause of the Sd8 error message.
