Faulty user parameter setting of the feedback system at X8

Eliminated from:
EVS93xx-EK V8.1, EVS93xx-CK V8.1

Behavior of the new version?
In case of different settings for the speed feedback system  (C0495) and the position feedback system (C0490) which both can only be connected to interface X8 the drive now checks the settings for plausibility. It is not possible ny longer to set different feedback systems for speed and position both connected to X8. Of course it is still possible to set different feedback system in case these are connected to different terminals (i.e. X7 and X8).

What happens?
Dependent on the configuration the behaviour may respond as described in the following:
  • The drive indicates an error because the position/speed feedback system cannot be installed properly.
  • The drive generates torque and moves for a short period of time until being switched off via the following error monitoring.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if different feedback systems are configured under C0490 and C0495 which however are to be connected at input X8.

Possible diagnostics?
Check codes C0490 and C0495 for the feedback systems set. It is not allowed that different feedback systems which must both be connected to the X8 interface are set.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Check the codes for the position feedback system (C0490) and speed feedback system (C0495). If necessary, change these codes to the correct settings. X8 is the typical interface for connecting the position feedback system. The interface for the speed feedback system must be set to the resolver input (X7).
The following error monitoring must not be switched off.

Evaluation:
The behaviour can only occur if the user configures the position feedback system and speed feedback system under the corresponding codes C0490 and C0495 incorrectly. The faulty setting is detected during initial commissioning at the latest.
