C0490, C0495: Entry of implausible combinations of feedback systems is inhibited

Application:
Two different feedback systems are applied for speed control loops/position control loops.

Function description
For the 9300, separate feedback systems can be applied for speed control loops and position control loops. For this purpose, the resolver input (X7) and the encoder input (X8) are provided. The TTL, sin/cos, and sin/cos hiperface absolute value encoder types are all connected to X8 so that these encoder types cannot be combined with each other. Hence, the only possible combinations are combinations with a resolver at X7.
Now the practically impossible combinations of feedback systems are directly intercepted when making entries into the codes C0490 and C0495. If an implausible encoder combination is selected, the last set encoder type will now automatically be written to the codes C0490 and C0495.
Tip:
In the GDC, the respective other code must be read back, e.g. by using the F6 key, before the changed setting can be obtained.
