Touch probe positioning and status bit ¨ProfileBusy¨ (remedied from V1.3 onwards)

Remedied from:
ECSxP Posi&Shaft V1.3 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
In the course of a touch probe positioning which always consists of two profiles, the 'Stat1.ProfileBusy' is still set during the first profile only and reset in the second profile while the touch probe residual path is traversed.
The 'Stat2.AuxProfileBusy' status bit is now additionally available in order to generate a 'Busy' signal for the duration of the complete touch probe positioning.
'Stat2.AuxProfileBusy' is set when the touch probe (TP) occurs. At the same time 'Stat1.ProfileBusy' is reset.
The user can link both status bits via an OR connection in order to receive the 'Busy' status signal for the duration of the complete touch probe positioning. The transition is timed in such a way that the 'Busy' signal generated is not stopped.

Which products are affected?
ECSxP Posi&Shaft <=V1.2

What happens?
The 'ProfileBusy' status bit is not indicated correctly during touch probe positioning. The status bit is set to TRUE while the first profile of the two profiles belonging to the touch probe positioning is active. However, when changing over to the second profile the 'ProfileBusy' status bit is set to FALSE although the touch probe positioning is actually still active.

When does the problem occur?
Whenever the touch probe positioning is used.

Possible diagnostics?
Observe the 'ProfileBusy' status bit.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None inside the ECS Posi&Shaft.
If necessary, simulate the function in the higher-level control.

Evaluation:
The touch probe positioning function itself is not affected by the missing status signal.
