Controller cycle synchronisation via CAN (remedied from V1.5)

Remedied from?
9400 HighLine SW V1.5

Eliminated function restriction
The default setting has been changed to 109ns. With this value a correct synchronisation is warranted.

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine SW ≤ V1.37

What happens?
The default setting for code C1124/0 = 10 ns does not ensure that deviations in the internal controller cycles can be compensated for between the connected devices.
The monitoring function for the controller cycle synchronisation trips too late in some cases.
In the device application there is currently no signal connection which reports the loss of synchronisation for the device.

When does the problem occur?
Applications with synchronised CAN communication, e.g. during the transmission of position setpoints, in drive systems in electrical shafts.

Possible diagnostics?
Drive displays sporadic out-of-true running with 'cracking' noises. Evaluation of the status LED 'CAN error'

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Adapt the parameterisation of the code C01124. One option for a usable setting is 104 ns.

Evaluation
The function restriction makes it more difficult to commission drives in drive systems and causes irregular running of the machine if ignored.
