Parameter set lost after saving followed immediately by mains switching (eliminated as of HL-V10.0 + PLC-V4.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine Firmware V10.00.12.00
9400 ServoPLC Firmware V04.00.12.00

Behaviour of the new version?
If the device is switched off while a parameter set is saved this is recognised by the device when being rebooted. The 'Power down during Par. save' error is indicated.

It is still required to perform a download by means of the Engineer since the parameter which has been valid last is re-activated after switch-on.

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine Firmware ≤ V09.00.09.00
9400 ServoPLC Firmware ≤ V03.00.17.00

What happens?
It takes around 10-15 seconds to save the parameter set. During this time the power supply to the control card must not be interrupted. This is particularly important to note when carrying out this command via the keypad (context-sensitive 'Save' button), as there is no 'Busy' feedback here.
The last valid parameter set will be restored.

When does the problem occur?
Mains switching immediately after saving the parameter set in the device

Possible diagnostics?
Error message 'Parameter set restored' after switching back on again.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
After triggering a device command, e. g. C00002 = 11 (save start parameters) the status of the device command can be read at C03.
Example:
Start parameter save currently being processed: C03 = 754946 = 0xB8502
Start parameter save completed: C00003 = 720896 = 0xB0000
If required, the code C65287 can be set at the keypad to choose between a decimal display or a hexadecimal display.

Evaluation
The lack of a status message on the keypad can lead to mistakes made during operation which result in a loss of parameter settings during the commissioning and optimisation of drives.
