Function description
Up to now it has been assumed that in a CamManager project every cam axis included has the same number of motion profiles. Thanks to CamManager V2.3 a different number of motion profiles can be defined for every cam axis. The CamManager indicates a dashed line for all product numbers shown in addition to the defined number of motion profiles. If a motion profile which is not available for all cam axes is edited (e. g. Product3) the input window for this motion profile is highlighted in grey for these axes under the CamDesigner. In this case a profile can be selected for this axis but it cannot be written in the cam profile file by clicking on the LCx icon.
Applications
- Machine modules which use axes with changeover between different motion profiles and cam axes with one motion profile only
- Applications with 9300ET devices in combination with the CAM software package (up to 48 motion profiles possible) and 9300EK devices (up to 8 motion profiles possible).
