Internal digital ¨fd=0¨ is permanently set

Which products are affected?
starttec motor starter, software version 2.0

What happens?
The internal digital signal 'fd=0' is permanently set to HIGH level regardless whether the motor is rotating or not. This signal is combined with bit 6 of the status word (C0150) according to the default setting. If the motor stands still the signal should be set to HIGH level. If the motor is running the signal should be set to LOW level.

When does the problem occur?
If the starttec is equipped with software version 2.0 the problem will always occur.

Possible diagnostics?
If the motor is running a '1' is indicated according to the default setting at bit 6 of the status word (C0150). Alternatively the internal digital signal 'fd=0' can be combined with a digital output where the voltage level is to be measured.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The function restriction of the internal digital signal 'fd=0' will already be detected during commissioning. The use of this signal for drive diagnostics purposes does not make sense.
