Function description
Inverters of the 93xx can detect and save device-specific process parameters without additional measuring meters.
Thanks to the extended function it is now possible to transfer the metered values as data blocks with a data length of 4 bytes via the parameter channel of the PROFIBUS-DP.
Applications
The detection and saving of these metered values (speed setpoint, actual speed, torque, etc.) serves for the comfortable documentation in case of the precise setting of control circuits and for easy maintenance and error analysis of the drive systems.
The S7 program uses special Lenze function blocks via which the DriveServer can access the drives through the PLC as if the PLC was not connected. The extension described before enables to use this communication path in order to apply the oscilloscope function by means of the GDC parameter setting software.
