System Bus Server Driver supports several CAN ports

Function description
If several active CAN ports exist, the number of an active CAN port can be selected via the additional Hardware Number field in the Communication parameter dialog (menu item Online>Communication parameter). Several CAN ports can be activated by using the system bus configurator. The CAN port number (the Hardware Number) can be found in the column # of the system bus configurator.

Applications
By means of the system bus configurator several 2177 PC system bus adapters and several 2180 EthernetCAN can be activated at the same time.  For differentiation purposes every 2177 PC system bus adapter has its own device address and every 2180 EthernetCAN has its own IP address (see register card Settings). Via the Hardware Number in the DDS communication parameters it is now possible to access different CAN networks in a very easy way.

Notes
Communication problems with older software versions of the 2177 PC system bus adapters may occur when updating the communication software V1.x to V2.0.2.0.
