Communication errors in case of controller inhibit and controller enable

Which products are affected?
Global Drive Loader Version 2.x
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC, irrespective of version)

What happens?
If the Global Drive Loader is used to log in a Drive PLC and if the menu item Online>Controller inhibit or Online>Controller enable is executed, the following error message is indicated:

A communication occurred.
Error number: A113h

After acknowledging this communication error it is logged out.

When does the problem occur?
The controller inhibit and controller enable function is not supported by the Drive PLC. As a result, a communication error occurs when selecting the menu items Online>Controller inhibit and Online>Controller enable.

Possible diagnostics?
When logging in with the Global Drive Loader the target system in which it has been logged in is indicated in plain text (e. g. target system: Drive PLC) under the Target system register.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Do not use the menu items Online>Controller inhibit and Online>Controller enable after logging in in a Drive PLC.

Evaluation:
When inhibiting or enabling the controller in a Drive PLC a communication error is indicated. The Drive PLC does not provide the controller inhibit and controller enable function. As a result, the menu items mentioned above are not executed by a Drive PLC. If a communication error has occurred, the online connection to the Drive PLC can be re-established by logging in.
