What happens?
The green LED goes off after initialisation of the communication module.
Note: Even if the LED is off, the CANopen is continued without problems.
When does the problem occur?
The problem may occur sporadically if the module is operated as master by using code (8200/9300) or C2352 (PLC devices).
Possible diagnostics?
If the module is operated as master by using code C1852 (8200/9300) or C2352 (PLC devices) and if the green LED on the left goes off after initialisation in case of a trouble-free communication of the bus system this may indicate that the error described before has occurred.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Exchange the communication module with Software V1.1 for a communication module with Software V1.2.
Evaluation:
The bus communication is not disturbed/interrupted if the green LED goes off. As a result, this error is not to be considered as critical in an application. This function restriction has been eliminated with Software V1.2.
