KTY temperature sensor characteristic (detection of the motor temperature) (remedied from B-SW V6.6)

Remedied from:
ECS axis module B-SW  V6.6

Behaviour of new version?
The motor temperature is indicated correctly. Before, deviating temperatures in high and low temperature ranges have been determined when calculating the typical characteristic temperature characteristic.
The Lenze motor types MCS09 to MCS19 have implemented three temperature sensors in series connection (1x KTY83-110 and 2x PTC150°C).
Under code C1190 there has been implemented a new selection for this specific sensor constellation. The motor temperature now can be measured more accurate.
See Characteristics selection for KTY motor temperature sensors of MCS motors.

Which products are affected?
ECS axis module B-SW ≤ V6.5

What happens?
Faulty display of the motor temperature

When does the problem occur?
When selecting a typical temperature characteristic (C1190 = 1).

Possible diagnostics?
Comparison of the motor temperature display in the ECS with the same motor connected to a 9300 servo inverter (identical real motor temperature required).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
When using the typical temperature characteristic it is to be observed that the temperature indicated is lower than the actual motor temperature. If the use of the typical temperature characteristic is required, the actual temperature is to be measured at several points. The behaviour is to be configured and evaluated accordingly via codes C0121 (variable temperature threshold = early warning via OH7) and C0584 (error response).
ATTENTION: C0584 (error response) can only be set to WARNUNG or OFF!

Evaluation:
Can be eliminated by parameter setting. In case of synchronous machines this does not affect the drive performance. The motor may be damaged thermally if the measures are not implemented.
