EMF 2133I B Profibus communication module with firmware version 1.2
Function description
The EMF 2133 IB Profibus communication module has a monitoring function for monitoring the reception of process data telegrams within a certain time (default setting = inactive). The corresponding time is set in the Profibus master and transferred to the Profibus slaves during the initialisation phase of the bus.
In the past the monitoring function could be set by the help of the DRIVECOM index 6004 hex via the DRIVECOM control / via the Lenze device control. As the DRIVECOM profile allows only codes ≤ 2000 to be addressed, there was no access to the index 6004 hex, when the PROFIDRIVE profile was selected. In case of the set 2131-functionality the monitoring function is also available by switch S8.
Exception:
If the monitoring function is set via DRIVECOM control / via the Lenze device control, it will also be active after switch-over to the PROFIDRIVE profile.
The addition of code C1882 now enables the access to the monitoring function of the PROFIDRIVE profile. Code C1882 / index 6004 hex are equivalent, as they both access the same memory area. The latest entry is dominant. Code C1882 has the data format FIX 32 and is like the index 6004 located on the module. The code and the index can only be accessed via the Profibus by using the parameter channel.
The corresponding values for the entries in code 1882 / index 6004hex, which lead to the desired drive's response to an interruption of the process data communication, can be taken from the following listing:
Code 1882:
- 0 – No response
- 1 – Trip
- 2 – Controller inhibit
- 3 – Quick stop
DRIVECOM index 6004hex:
- 0 – No response
- 1 – Controller inhibit
- 2 – Quick stop
- 4 – Trip
Applications
If during operation the Profibus communication is interrupted (e. g. break of the bus cable), the drive controller can be driven to a defined status in all profiles (DRIVECOM, PROFIDRIVE and Lenze device control).
