Which products are affected?
Function restriction eliminated on the 9300EP servo positioning controller as of versions V2.5 and V6.1.
Eliminated function restriction
Cyclic input of position setpoints, e.g. from an external continuous path control via the input POS-PSET-EXT: When changing over from the internal profile generator to the external position setpoints the drive may have jerked. When changing over there is now no longer any jerk.
Possible diagnostics?
Changover between external and internal profile generation.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
By means of function block connection do not pass the speed precontrol on to MCTRL for 4 ms. POS-NOUT via ASW to MCTRL-N-SET. Switch ASW by means of DIGDEL, delayed by 4 ms, to the input POS-PSET-SWT = High.
Evaluation:
The jerk was only caused by the speed precontrol signal so the jerk did not have any influence on position.
