Application
Parameters are sent continuously to the fieldbus module type 2175IB when using the communication profile 'DeviceNet'.
Description
By writing continuously 'explicit messages' (parameter transfer) a module crash can be generated with modules of software version <= V0.7. This crash is indicated by an orange connection status display (LED). This status is not defined. Usually, the LED should be green (communication status to the DeviceNet-Master) or red (fault).
Another hint for the module crash is that the module does not support the data exchange any more. By resetting the module (disconnection from the mains) this problem can be solved.
Elimination
This behaviour has been eliminated with software version 0.8.

None
Possible diagnostics
The behaviour described above will occur if the fieldbus module type 2175IB does not respond any more after sending continuously parameter jobs to the module.
