Setting the direction of motor attachment in function block CCTRL

Application

Servo CAM 9300:
  • The effective direction of the motor should not necessarily be dependent on the defined effective direction of the machine (motor rotates in an anti-clockwise direction whilst the machine moves in a positive direction). If the effective direction of the machine is positive, the user wants to get positive indications of the position and speed, even if the motor is actually rotating anti-clockwise.

Description

Previously it was only possible to adapt the effective direction in function block YSET with negative evaluation of the extension/compression factor of the cam and hence speed and position indications with negative signs in relation to the actual effective direction of the machine.
Code C1368/0 in CCTRL enables adaptation without affecting the counting direction of the internal position calculations, e.g. in the positioning and coupling functions.

IMPORTANT:
  • If the effective direction of the motor is reversed, it may be necessary to execute the 'Set reference' function again.
  • Changing code C1368/0 = 1 (CCTRL) also has an effect on the REFC function block. This ensures that the direction of motor attachment only has to be changed at one point in the drive controller.
  • To do so, set code C1349/0 = 3 (in the CCTRL).
