Reset / Tripreset after task overrun

Question:

What happens after a task overrun trip reset?

Answer:

If the controller is in the task overrun state (trip is active), the following actions are possible to reset the fault and to restart the PLC:

PLC reset or cold reset (cold reset only as of DDS V2.0):
If the Drive PLC Developer Studio carries out a reset in the online mode, the PLC is reset according to its reset behaviour. The program can be started but the trip remains.

TRIP reset (using C0043):
A common trip reset is carried out. As the trip was caused by a task overrun a cold reset is carried out automatically. The variables in the PLC are reset to their initialisation values, as it is normal for a cold reset. The control system can be restarted and the trip is acknowledged.

Starting the PLC without prior reset or trip reset:
If the PLC is started with an active task overrun trip (using C2108 or DDS), all tasks remain inhibited, only the PLC_PRG is executed (emergency operation).
