Driving towards mechanical limitation, evaluation of the drive controller

Question:

How can a blocking of the 8200 vector (e. g. driving towards mechanical limitation) be detected?

Answer:

1. By evaluating the signal DCTRL1-(IMot > ILim)-RFG-I=0a reaction can be caused via C0410/x (configuration digital input signals). Adjustment for ILim is effected in C0156 (reference IN).
  • Advantage: During acceleration time you can make use of Imax.
  • Disadvantage: During acceleration time there is no monitoring.

2. Adjustment C410/11 = 3, this means MCTRL-Imax sets TRIP and the brake activates (C415/01 = 18)
  • Advantage: Monitoring is always ensured.
  • Disadvantage: The drive must be dimensioned in a way that for acceleration Imax is never required.

Applications:

Hoists => Reaction = Trip-SET causes activation of the brake.
Gate control => Reaction = r/l-changeover causes the opening of the gate.
