Master frequency output X10, no index pulses

Question:

Why is the index pulse missing at master frequency output X10?

Answer:

When setting the DFOUT function C0540 = 4 (X10 = X8) or C0540 = 5 (X10 = X9) the index pulse is only output if it present at the input selected.

If a SinCos encoder SCS 70 or SCM 70 is used, the rotor position, and hence the zero position, is sent to the drive controller during the initialisation phase via the existing RS485 port.

An index pulse is generated only at C0540 = 0 ... 3 when the rotor is in the zero position.
