Identifier setting is not saved with mains failure protection
Which products are affected?
EPM-T110 (CAN Gateway V1.2)
What happens?
The identifier settings under indices I1400 hex and I1800 hex are not saved with mains failure protection by means of index I1010 hex .
When does the problem occur?
The response described above occurs if the CAN gateway is in the CANopen (I2361 hex = 1) mode.
TheLenze System bus mode is not affected by this function restriction.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Whenever the CAN gateway is switched on, use a higher-level control to parameterise the indices of the identifier settings.
Evaluation:
The process data object identifiers are not saved with mains failure protection when the CAN gateway is in the CANopen mode. Usually the parameters of the I/O system are set in the CANopen by a higher-level control immediately after switching-on the machine.
According to the Lenze default setting the Lenze System bus mode, which is not affected by this function restriction, is selected.
